Online Banking Entering Transactions

After creating their own personal Online bank account, students will enter bank account transactions and practice introductory skills necessary for Online banking.

Teaching Objectives

  • Students will learn to enter Online checking account and ATM transactions including debits, credits, and account transfers.

Suggested Grade Level

4th – 12th Grade. Adult education.

Lesson Instructions

This lesson first requires that you have created a class account and that students have already created their Online bank account. Please see the Online Banking Account Creation page for more information before continuing with this lesson.

Print out the lesson worksheet. The worksheet includes instructions for signing into an Online checking account and includes transactions for the student to enter into an Online bank simulation. Students should follow the the instructions on the worksheet. Internet access and access to a modern web browser are necessary to access the Online bank simulator.

The worksheet generated is random, so each time you click on the link a new worksheet is generated. Create new worksheets, and use this lesson as a daily or weekly training tool to help teach real world skills.
