Profession and Career Survey
Profession and career is where we spend a full third part of our life.  Therefore it is vital that we learn to live with this part of our life in harmony.  The fact that we all need to support ourselves requires that we find some form of service to give to the world in exchange for money to take care of our basic needs.  Those who are happiest in life have found a way to combine doing what they love with doing what makes them money.

Our careers are often built in a haphazard fashion.  Most of us attend college and designate some subject as a major without any real idea what the career itself will look like when we are out of school.  The end result is that we get out of school and then find that we are not as happy as we always thought we would be in the "real world".
It is at that point that most of us begin to contemplate what our true meaning in life is and how we might integrate it in some fashion to earn a paycheck.  There are others who accept the fact that they are going to have to work at some corporation to pay their bills and therefore they are determined to make the most of the experience and find happiness and meaning through their jobs or through other aspects of their life.

Wherever you are at in the career cycle the survey below is designed to find out what level of satisfaction you are experiencing with your present job and how to increase that or how to begin pursuing the life you have dreamed about.
The concept that we are all uniquely suited to serve some specialized function is an appealing one.   However even if we do find what that function is most of us have trouble finding someone to pay us to serve that function.  Somewhere along the way we must find a compromise between our idealism and the realities of the work world.  Even with those compromises though the search for a place you really fit with is well worth it.
