An overview of the different types of interviews, lesson plan and lesson.

 

Subject: Work preparation, Job Search, and career skills

 

Objectives:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the phases of an interview
  • Understand the different types of interviews
  • Understand when these types will be used
  • Know how to handle yourself with each type

Suggested Grade Levels:

7th-12th grade.

JOB INTERVIEW TYPES LESSON PLAN

 

Materials:

Procedure:

Print out the lesson and either let students read it themselves, or use the lesson for teaching about the different types of interviews.

Basic requirement:

  • ability to use the telephone
  • ability to follow instructions

Skills:

  • using a computer
  • keyboarding
  • using power tools

Should you lie to get the job? Never.

 

Assessment:

The lesson worksheet includes questions to test students' knowledge and understanding of the interview lesson material.
