BANKING SERVICES LESSON IDEA

Here is a banking services lesson idea from one of our teaching members:

For one class I had a list of services that banks or credit unions offer.  I had the students call each institution to compare services; such as interest rates, ATM charges, etc.

Then we discussed based on that information which would be the best place to open an account depending on our needs.

Many of the kids had never even used the phone to order a pizza, so this was a real growing experience for them. They boosted their self-confidence, learned banking terms and services, and professional phone etiquette all at the same time!
