CAR BUYING - SELECTING A CAR

Car buying process is not as simple as it seems.

It can be an easy job if you put some thoughts in to it.

Here is some basic things to think about when buying a car.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CAR

Size

The first thing you need to be sure is the size of the car. It varies from person to person and family to family in accordance to their liking and need.

You have a big family than your car must have so much space to accommodate all your family members. If you belong to a small family or you need a car for your individual transport, than it is a matter of choice. You can go for either big or small.

Distance Traveled and Budget

The second thing you must be sure that how long your car need to travel in a week. Be specific about the amenities you need in the car. There is a wide range of cars available in the market as far as price is concern. So, you need to know your budget. You can go through all the aspects of purchasing a four wheeler with the help of recent magazines related to it.

New, Used, or Lease?

Afterwards, shift your focus to some other important decisions. You have always three options available related to car purchasing. Two are the obvious; you can go for either new or old one. The third one is lease a car. In a new car, you can install whatever features you want. The maintenance cost of these cars is less and you feel safe while driving long.

Buying Used Cars

Buying a second hand car is a cheaper option. But, you need to be a bit selective while purchasing it. Previous wear and tear and poor maintenance are the two aspects which may be hidden. You need to accompany a car mechanic while buying second hand car. You are advised to get all assurances about the car in writing prior to purchase it. Most of the laws related to car purchase are applicable in dealerships. Keep this in back of your mind while buying a car from private party.

Hiring a vehicle can also be a good option. Many people like to travel in different types of cars. If you have limited budget then leasing is the only option. You need to examine the hire rate of different dealers before having a car. Prior to lease, you must understand all the cost involved related to property tax and insurance premium.
